Return to work arrangements

As part of standard therapy, recommendations regarding return to work plans are provided for any patient attending the clinic who may be covered by Workcover or TAC. Your therapist will liaise with your GP or case manager when required to assist you to return to work in a safe and timely manner.

Return to work plans may be organised in a variety of ways. Typically hand therapists will communicate with the appropriate third party via a phone call or written communication. Occasionally, case managers may request to attend appointments with patients to facilitate an in-person discussion between the patient, therapist and case manager.
