Hand therapy at home

When general mobility is limited following disease and / or disability (ie. Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury), therapists from Geelong Hand Therapy can provide comprehensive therapy in the home environment. Therapists can make in-home visits for the purpose of splinting (prefabricated and custom thermoplastic), casting, and the provision of adaptive equipment or exercise programs.

In order to access this service, at least two weeks’ notice is required. Please contact reception directly if you would like to discuss this option. Geelong Hand Therapy is wheelchair accessible although circulation space for larger, motorised chairs is somewhat difficult.
